The POS system for your delivery service.

Lieferando, Wolt and Uber Eats go straight into your POS, your own ordering shop comes without commission, and your drivers take card payments at the door. All from one source.

Example use cases

One screen instead of three tablets.

Two scenarios from everyday delivery: one with delivery platforms, one with your own ordering shop.

01The starting point

Three platforms, three tablets on the counter. Every order gets typed into the POS by hand. On Friday night, everything beeps at once, orders get lost, and more and more customers at the door want to pay by card.

02The solution

ByteServ connects all three platforms directly to the POS through our partner Mergeport. New orders arrive with an audible alert and go straight to the kitchen display. Drivers take payment at the door with BytePAYMENTS on their smartphone.

03The result

One screen instead of three tablets, no more double entry, and every order shows up in the daily report, whichever channel it came through.

Scenario 02

Delivery service with its own ordering shop

The platforms take up to 30% per order. So the business moves its regulars to its own ByteORDER shop: under its own logo, with delivery zones by postcode and its own delivery fee per zone. Customers order without an app or account and pay online with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

All scenarios are fictional examples. They show how we, as an agency, combine our partners' POS systems with our own solutions BytePAYMENTS, ByteORDER and Web.

Register mandate 2028

Electronic registers are becoming mandatory — with us you're ready long before.

From January 2028, businesses with more than €100,000 in annual revenue are set to be required to use a tamper-proof electronic register, as approved by the German cabinet in September 2026. At the same time, paper receipts are being replaced by digital ones. Our posmatic registers already do exactly that today — digital receipts via QR code included. Switch now and there's nothing left to do in 2028. We make the change easy.

Common questions

Questions about POS systems for delivery services.

Is there a POS system that connects to Lieferando and Wolt?

Yes. Through our partner Mergeport, we connect Lieferando, Wolt, Uber Eats and Foodora directly to your POS, including several platforms in parallel. New orders arrive with an audible alert and land in the POS without retyping. Your own web shops built with Wix or Getsby can be connected too.

Delivery platform or your own ordering shop: which pays off?

Usually both. Platforms bring reach and new customers, but they take up to 30% per order and keep the customer data. In your own ByteORDER shop you pay no commission, and the customers are yours. You don't have to leave the platforms overnight: you decide how fast you move regulars to your own shop.

How do my drivers take card payments at the door?

BytePAYMENTS Soft turns an Android smartphone into a card terminal, so drivers don't need an extra device. The app costs €5 a month, plus 5 cents and 0.99% per payment with consumer Visa or Mastercard cards issued in the EEA. Prefer a classic device? Then you get a wireless terminal, with a SIM card if you need one.

Do orders from my own shop also land in the POS?

Not directly yet. ByteORDER's POS connection via Mergeport is coming soon. Until then, all shop orders arrive in the live order board, on a compact Sunmi device, a tablet or any device with a browser. Orders from Lieferando, Wolt and co. already go straight into the POS today.
